It’s the easiest thing to sprout any of the grains or seeds you eat for breakfast! It does require
- Whole seeds or grains: chopped varieties have lost the “life” from inside the seed.
- Water: always submerge seeds/grains in water and then some
- Time: sprouting always takes time, usually 2+ days.
Why do it? Increase the nutritional content of your food and boost the flavor! Ever tried eating sprouted wheat? It has a lovely, sweetish flavor!
Sprouted goods may be eaten raw or cooked.
